THROUGH THE ACT OF CHARITY
Steps of Hope is a 100% not-for-profit charity organisation whose mission is to help the people of Lebanon become architects of their future.
Since the civil war of 1975, the Lebanese people have experienced hardship and have struggled to survive and provide a solid foundation for future generations. Aiming to minimise poverty and hardship through acts of charity, we help provide relief for those who are experiencing financial, emotional and physical difficulty, building a better, brighter future for those in most need.
We hope that we can constitute the first measures towards tackling poverty, creating momentum that won’t stop until the fight against poverty is won.
Because of your generous donations, we can contribute to the livelihood of many poor households in Lebanon by providing food hampers, medical support and financial contributions to those in various villages who are least able to support themselves.
We know that there are people who share in our mission and show love in different ways. For this reason, we have a variety of volunteer programs, charity initiatives, and donation processes. Whichever way you choose to help, we are grateful.
We encourage volunteer work and financial donations because we believe we can end poverty, but we know we can’t do it alone. Together, as a global community, we can improve the living standards for many Lebanese families, one step at a time.
