Light for Lebanon is a gala dinner that took place on Friday, August 28, 2020. The gala dinner was created to help raise funds to rebuild, rehouse and feed thousands of people in Beirut that have affected by the result of the catastrophic event that shook Beirut on August 4, 2020.
All funds raised by Light for Lebanon will be directly donated to the charity, Steps of Hope. Steps of Hope is currently working on the ground in Beirut to identify damaged houses and families in need.
The charity live-streamed from one of the affected houses throughout the evening whilst also sharing stories of other victims affected by the blast. This approached help raise further monies and donations towards Steps of Hope and those from Beirut in need.
