Following the catastrophic explosion that hit Beirut on August 4th, the Lebanese people are witnessing one of the most difficult times of their lives. With no local government support, NGO’s are taking social responsibility to lend a helping hand to devastated families.
ALISEP’s mission since 2012 has been to support Multiple Sclerosis patients at all levels. Currently they support 1300 patients which they’ve been aiding and supporting, many of whom have been severely affected by the recent circumstances physically or whose shelters or businesses were damaged drastically.
Patients are in desperate need for their medications in order to continue their treatment as three main hospitals which treated these patients regularly have been damaged and almost destroyed. As priority, all donations to ALISEP through Steps Of Hope will go towards medication and entry into other hospitals in order to continue receiving medical treatment.
In an attempt to unite efforts and offer ALISEP families a helping hand to come through this painful period, ALISEP is doing everything in its power to ensure no patient will be left without medication and treatment. All donations will make a difference.
