Relight Lebanon x Steps of Hope
Lebanon is now plunging into darkness—quite literally. There is a shortage of electricity across the entire country, leaving families, workplaces, businesses, students, children, and more, affected in many ways.
No power means no light, no way to charge phones, no way to charge laptops, no computers, no TV, no internet, no warmth in the cold, no cool in the heat, no fresh food, and the list goes on.
In partnership with the Relight Lebanon campaign established by Donia Khouzame and supported by her sister Daniella Rahme and Alissar Ghattas, our aim is to provide solar kits to families across the country, to help people resume their daily lives.
But we can’t do it without you.
For AU$55, you can purchase solar kits that will provide lighting and charging for devices. The Steps of Hope team on the ground in Lebanon will install each in a new home, providing much-needed electricity for children, parents, and students alike.
Our goal is to help students return to school, help workers resume their work, help parents continue their daily lives and ultimately help Lebanon shine its light. Again.
We are ready to Relight Lebanon. Are you?
