Roukoz who was battling in Zahle in 1982, when he became subject to an explosion that then led to a leg amputation. Over time, he developed lung failure and is dependent continuously on  an oxygen supply, in addition to numerous medications which are costly.

Roukoz is married, which 3 son and 2 daughters and relies on his son’s limited income for survival.  Due to Lebanon’s current crises, Samir, his son, lost his earnings and the family lives in a rented apartment, incurring monthly rental of 475,000 LBP.
